First things first, the US MNT has added another friendly to the November schedule by announcing their stop in Slovakia four days before playing Denmark, which will make for a good pair of measuring stick matches against a couple of fellow World Cup qualifiers on European soil. Both Slavakia and Denmark finished atop their UEFA qualifying groups, so these matches should provide a good show of where we stand against quality competition several months removed from the Confederations Cup.

Isn't awful how work always gets in the way of TV viewing? Bastards... We start this week with MOTD2's "2 Good 2 Bad" - a little later than usual, but it still counts. Our ESPN friends run down their Top 10 MLS Goals of the Season, and then John Harkes answers JPD's burning questions about the playoffs. Perhaps he should use a balm for that burning. The USMNT put together a World Cup qualification thank you video to the fans a few days ago, and I missed it. Finally... and believe me, I hate to break this to Burnley fans... but the guy who clearly ate all the pies looked very much offside to me.
