After three straight away games, in which the Red-and-White earned two wins and a loss, Chivas USA returns to host the Kansas City Wizards this Saturday night, Sept. 27, at 7:30 p.m. PT. Kansas City currently sits in sixth place in the Eastern Conference, just one point out of a spot in the playoffs, while the Red-and-White own the second spot in the Western Conference but are in the middle of a tight race in the division for the postseason. First question (as always this season) is who is healthy for the match?
Zack Thornton, Lawson Vaughn, Raphael Wicky, and Eric Ebert are all out. Maykel Galindo may make it to the bench. Jonathan Bornstein, Carey Talley, and Paulo Nagamura all suffered individual light injuries, nothing to serious, but may have limited participation in this game. Alex Zotinca is on a steady path to returning to full fitness.
