REPORT: Adrian Serioux Fined $1000 for Beckham Tackle

Major League Soccer has yet to update its Discipline Page, but numerous outlets are reporting that Adrian Serioux has been fined an additional $1000 for his red card-tackle on David Beckham during a home game on 19 May. He already received the mandatory $250 fine for the red card. The Canadian Press report states: MLS commissioner Don Garber said the fine was imposed because of comments Serioux made to England's Sun newspaper in February 2007, his comments afterwards and because of the challenge itself.
