He scores the first goal in this video, connecting on a Beckham cross. Just so y'all know, I got to know Ely Allen pretty well in college at Washington. I was the men's soccer beat reporter for the student paper -- so I also got to know Ty Harden and Kevin Forrest pretty well also. The first feature I ever wrote as a journalist was on Ely. I must say, it's a terrible story, but I was a stupid little teenager.
