Sasha Vujacic Gives Another Reason To Hate Him (Or Possibly Love Him)
RCS Sidelines —
The Lakers beat the Spurs 100-92 and win the series 4-1 to advance to the NBA Championships. Kobe Bryant scored 39 points and dominated in the second half, but it was Sasha Vujacic who hit the shot that will infuriate Spurs fans and many others: ...
Sasha Vujacic Classlessly Takes Last Second Three (Beats Spread)
FanIQ Blog —
We've been all over Sasha "The Machine" Vujacic and Lakers-Fan.com's video spoofs of his unique playing style. Last night he provided them with some very easy fodder for a new video.
With the Lakers up five points and the Spurs conceding victory Vujacic waved wildly in calling for the basketball with under 10 seconds remaining. The classy thing to do would be dribbling the final seconds off the clock and shaking hands with the defending champs.
Not The Machine.
The Machine wants to stick a dagger into the hearts of San Antonio... and Vegas. You see, the ...
Vujacic’s Last-Second Shot Vs. Spurs Vexes Vegas
SPORTSbyBROOKS —
Sasha Vujacic may be one of the toasts of the town in L.A. at the moment, but the Lakers guard should steer clear of Vegas for the time being. Sasha Vujacic Lakers Spurs Darren Rovell of CNBC rolls up news that Vujacic’s meaningless last-second shot Thursday night may have cost bettors up to $ 100 million in losses . The Lakers were just moments away from sending the Spurs out of the playoffs, up 97-92 and with possession of the ball. But instead of dribbling out the remaining seconds, Vujacic decided to heave up a three before the clock read zero: The basket went in, the crowd cheered, and the Lakers finished with a 100-92 victory. But those ...
Rage Against the Machine
Upside and Motor —
Photo from DoItMitch. Why the hell is Sasha Vujacic so hateable? He hasn't developed the reputation of a Bruce Bowen nor the defensive prowess, so why you hate the playa, America? Well, there are definitely some contributing factors consistent with other hateable players: He plays for the Lakers. The Machine will always be demonized because of his association with La La Land, be it because of Kobe, Phil, or even the majesty of the franchise. It's just too easy to hate a Laker, as it has been to hate one of the Spurs. Something about seeing the purple and gold just brings out the worst in people, ...
Fun With Lakers Fans!!
I *Heart* Celtics —
Ok, I do check out some Lakers blogs and this one caught my eye... It's a good blog. I agree with this general premise that the Lakers will be a better team next year, assuming Bynum can stay healthy/fully recover from his knee injury. I can also completely understand a Laker fan's desire to start thinking about next year. Most of the comments on this post are similar- praising the Celtics' performance and then moving the convo on to what to do for next year. Some of the comments, however, really cracked me up, and I am going to break down the post-season fury that we've ALL experienced relatively recently unless you're a ...
