D.C. Sports Bog — Damon Jones Faux-Slashes His Throat So DeShawn Stevenson was fined $25k for his "Roc-a-fella dynasty" hand signal-throat slash maneuver early in Game 4. The NBA described it as a "menacing gesture." Fair enough. Except just last month Damon Jones made a three-pointer late in a Wiz loss to the Cavs, which he followed up with the "I can't feel my face" gesture and then, yup, a throat slash. Was he fined? If so, I find no mention of it anywhere. A commenter at the SOHH boards had the best explanation for why Damon Jones was (presumably) not fined: because David Stern couldn't see him. Duh.
