I'd like to see the Cubs do a few things during rain delays and especially in lightning delays... 1. Invite the bleacher folks to the covered grandstand for the rest of the game. There was plenty of room for them at last night's game and they wouldn't have been at risk like they were in the bleachers. 2. Offer free rain ponchos like at Niagara Falls, Maid of the Mist boat ride. This is an advertising opportunity and a chance at some additional goodwill. Remember, the fans paid a LOT for their tickets...do what you can to keep them healthy and safe. [image] 3. If its a cold rainy delay, offer free hot chocolate to the fans.
