Behind the Jersey — Last night was a great one for Detroit sports fans. 1) The Lions weren’t playing. 2) The Detroit Pistons finished off the Philadelphia 76ers, 100-77, and thus winning their first round series before the Wings game even started. 3) During the Wings first period, the Tigers finished up their game against the Yankees. They won 8-4 giving them a series sweep over the NY Yankees in NYC, which is the first time they’ve been able to do that in 42 years! 4) The Wings sweep the Avs in a dominating fashion concluding with an 8-2 victory.
