Apart from having a swashbuckling moniker, Zico was an awesome footballer. In the early 1980s he was arguably the best player in the world, better even than Maradona, who didn't peak until the mid-80s. Now he's the coach of Fenerbahce, Chelsea's Champions League opponents tonight (do you see what I did there?), but I'll always remember him from the 1982 World Cup, when he was pure magic.
